Description: fIVE PANTHER WRESTLERSMADE THE TREK TO SOUTH-PORT HIGH SCHOOL AT-tempting to capture a sixth consecutive state title for the BHS Southgrapplers.Senior Doug Hutsell and sophomore Randy May both took the titleat their respective weight classes.May took the 98-lb. championshipby beating Rommel Smith of Manuel,finishing the season undefeated.Hutsell became a two-time statechamp by winning the 126-lb. finalover state returnee Rick Fergusonof Richmond. Senior Ken Carmichael,at 112 pounds, finished as runner-up to Stan Goodman of Greens burg.The remaining two South participants werent able to make it pastthe first round. Senior Larry Litten,at 155, lost to the eventual statechamp Ken DeLong, 8-2. Heavyweight Mike Reagan was pinned byhis 240-lb.
