Description: Abi-Saleh-BaxleyClass of 1988Juniors have record yearA hardworking group of officers, headed this years juniorclass and raised money throughmany different business ventures, said President Amy Brum-mit. According to class secretaryMelanie Carter, the class soldpizzas in the fall, held manybake sales during lunch hours,sponsored dances after athleticevents and washed cars duringthe summer. Later in the winter,they held a raffle, selling thetickets at a basketball game,with a television as the grandprize. A planned project forspring was the selling of coupons good on picture packagesat Avalon Studios.Through all these efforts, theclass was able to get the bandKilo to perform at the prom,HalaAbi-SalehAndyAcuffAaron AdamsLance AdamsGeoff AikenEve AlexanderMarijo AlexanderDanny AllgoodNicole AlspaughRay AltAngie AmmonsAlisica AndersonAndrea AndersonJoe AndersonMaria AyaldeJay BakerBrian BarrigerTeresa BartholomewCassie Baxleywhich was held at the Union.The Junior Advisory Board,made up of any interested Juniors willing to give up some timeafter school on Tuesdays,played an important part in theplanning on fund raisers andmade up the various prom committees.The class sponsors weregreatly appreciated for their efforts by the officers.
