Bloomington High School South, The Gothic, 1985, Page 238

Description: At the end of a school day two Southstudents exit the building, and go on totheir diverse after school activities. Our finaleWhatever begins must at some time end. When we first begin at our place, BHS South,we know that our time here must sometimeend. The end of the school year means manydifferent things to different people. Forsome it means time away from our place, and a rest before they return once more toits familiar hallways and classrooms. Forothers, the end of the school year marks theend of a certain part of their lives, and anopening into a new part.We are prepared here atour place for some of whatthe world will throw Our wayfrom time to time. Some of us view our timehere at South positively, while others view itnegatively. The view is veryindividual, and depends onthe activities that we, asindividuals, participated in.As this school year ends all of us here atour place will be taking different pathways. Some pathways will lead back to South, butfor seniors the pathways will disperse andvary. It doesnt really matter which ways wego at the close of this school year. It isimportant that we remember that at onetime, we were all individual studentstogether making a whole student body atour place, BHS South. . . . wetogether makeup a whole student body...«MbEmpty hallways scattered with bits oftrash and a forgotten book or two arenot untypical of BHS South. It is thecommon sight at the close of our days.i238 ClosingMMJ
