Description:	—Wrestlers finish with 10-2uThe boys wrestling teammade a vast improvement andmet its goals this year, accomplishing three of the fourgoals it set for the season.The three most outstandingachievements were winningthe South-hosted eight-waymeet, capturing the sectionaltrophy, above all, placingfourth in the state meet.Coach Bill Finley was excitedto win his first sectional title.He was proud that all 13wrestlers on his varsity teamplaced in the top four. The Panthers were favored to win theSouth Central Conference title;however, a combinationofillness and injury preventedthe win.The Panthers finished theseason with a 10-2 record. Victories over seventh-rankedFranklin Central and 18th-ranked Jennings Countyhighlighted the season. Thewrestlers also defeated Bloomington North in a regularseason match.Three prominent wrestlersaccomplished exceptional individual feats.
