Description:	mmReserve, freshman teamsfinish seasons at 5-3, 6-2The freshman football team,consisting of 39 members,anded the 1984 season with a6-2 record. Coach Al Gallo saidthat he thought it wasunusual that they played sowell together.Helped by volunteer coachesGallo, Kevin Hall, Doug McCoy,Dan Piercy, and Jay Tuere, theteam made very few mistakesfor freshman, said Gallo. Wewere very proud of the waythey played. We were real excited about the seasonbecause of coming from middle school to high schoolwhere they didnt get thechance to win very many. Thechange from middle school tohigh school didnt hurt themmuch at all.Aaron Hosey, Curt Mallory,and George Schermer werejust a few of the boys on theteam that supported and ledthem on to a good yearalthough everyone on thesquad did their part.The reserve football team,finishing the season with a 5-3record, had a pretty goodseason, according to coachGrier Werner.When we had everyone onthe team there, we were apretty strong team, saidWerner.
