Description: bHSS STUDENTS SPENT THESUMMER AND FALL OF 1973ENGAGED IN A WIDE VARIETYof activities.Travel, employment, recreation,workshops, and general leisure timeoccupied the three summer months.A late July North-South All-Starfootball game, the proceeds of whichwent to the handicapped, sparkedan anticipation of the coming fall.As cooler weather approached,Powder Puff football teams took tothe field. In addition to raising classfunds, the early October Powder Puffgames captured the spirit and intensity of class rivalries. Runners,golfers, and volleyballers also prepared for fall competition.Many South students held part-time jobs throughout the school yearat various Bloomington businesses,theaters, and recreational facilities.TOP LEFT: The artistic eye of photographerJim Greene captures the varsity marchingband during a halftime performance.
