The challenge isto be the first student director thatJUNIOR Rebekah Hammer is involved in both actingand directing.Forester didnt yell at, Liesmanncommented.Liesmann said a student director gets afeeling of accomplishment, knowing thatyou helped. He noted that the audiencedoesnt come to see a student directorbut to see a show. Youre not in thelimelight, he explained.Junior Rebekah Hammer, who has alsobeen a student director, said the directordoesnt get yelled at often. She also mentioned that student directors dont haveto wear make-up, can go to cast partiesand not feel out of place, and can see theshow free of charge.Hammer became a student directorlast year because she wanted to see thedirecting side of putting on a show.
