Supporting one another,parts become the wholeThe school is just a building without thepeople inside. The people—students,faculty, and staff—interact to help keepSouth a unit—educationally, athletically,and socially.All of the groups make up South, eachmaintaining its existence with supportfrom the others. Members of TheatreSouth attended a football game as agroup to express their support, and manyathletic teams cheered on other teams atsporting events.The community displayed its supportfor South, especially in the footballplayoffs. Also, the Booster Club backedall activities at South, not just theschools athletic teams.In academics some National HonorSociety members tutored while otherstudents met after school to help oneanother with assignments or met for theinfamous lab parties.Bloomington South students formed achapter of Students Against DrivingDrunk in an attempt to learn how to keeptheir classmates away from hazardoussocial situations.
