She felt the trip was important in helping the students learn something about French culture.Second-semester psychology studentstook their annual field trip to the IndianaUniversity psychology department.Psychology teacher Violet Lynch said thepurpose of the tour was to see psychologyresearch in action and to learn about theIU psychology program.Typical experiments observed by the students dealt with the effect of drugs on a persons problem solving and the ways different people see color and shape.Four members of the publications staffsattended the Journalism Education Association (JEA) national convention in St. Louis.Seniors Cathy Armer, Martha Griggs, LoriHepler, and Rita Roper attended the conference with adviser Marilyn Kelsey to learnabout new trends in newspapers and yearbooks and to see other school publications.Field Trips/Conventions 89 |
