Goss trackmen earn sectional titleMarshall Goss boys track team finished the season with a 3-2 record, a second-place finish in the South CentralConference, a sectional victory, and afifth-place finish in the regional.During the season, junior Kevin Kingbroke Souths discus record, set a newsectional and SCC record, and at onetime threw a record-breaking 1899.Sophomore Dave Volz broke Southspole vault record and tied for the SCCrecord with a jump of 146.Senior Bill Duff set a record in the 330-yd. low hurdles, a new event in the Indiana High School Athletic Association. Healso was awarded the captain and B-manhonors.King placed third in the discus in thestate meet.
