Description:	Contests highlight bands yearThe stage band, directed by DonaldTraub, presented a spring concert andHalloween convocations and entertainedstudents during lunch period severaltimes. They performed for BroadviewElementary School and participated inBloomingtons first jazz festival.In December the symphonic windensemble, under Traubs direction, presented an all-school concert. The groupalso performed in a spring concert and atSouths Parents Night.Members of both bands fared well inthe Indiana State Music Associationssolo and ensemble contest.Souths orchestra, directed by DonaldNeal, participated in the Music in OurSchools Festival. Orchestra membersalso played at a spring concert and in anorchestra solo and ensemble contest.Debbie Leyda and Mary Hagan werenamed to the All-State Honors Orchestra.TOP: SYMPHONIC WIND ENSEMBLE-WOODWINDS.
