Description: Morrison takes over Panther nettersWere looking forward to higheraccomplishments in future seasons,stated first-year coach Jack Morrison.The team ended the season with a 4-8record. Todd Englander had a 12-0 season record, having won 18 consecutivematches.During the summer Mark Andersoncompeted in the Mr. Peanut finals, anaccuracy competition, in New York andbrought home a third-place national rating.Juniors Englander, Anderson, and JoeHickman, respectively, held the firstthree singles positions. Seniors BobBrown and Dave Shirley played No. 1doubles. Mike Willett, sophomore, andDave DeCoster, freshman, played No. 2doubles.With 26 members the team was thelargest in the schools history.The team improved throughout theyear.
