Even asa freshman youwalk in on the firstday of school andyou already know atleast 100 people.a fine night for the artsEach year, Bloomington South hosts fine arts night, an event that highlights art studentspieces from throughout the school year. During this night, the family and friends of thestudents involved are invited to South to view the artwork and talk with teachers aboutthe pieces. This celebration is a great way to recognize the talents that students possessoutside of the traditional classes taken at South. The artwork displayed ranges fromceramics to paintings and photographs and is selected by the art teachers. Thestudents involved with the event were excited to participate in fine arts night since it wasa great opportunity to show off their artistic talent to their peers, teachers, family, andfriends.109Kamila White Alomarjunior
