Description: |
ALBUMAt the beginning of the schoolyear, many freshmen are overwhelmed by Bloomington HighSchool North. The size and thenumber of people tend to confusenewcomers, (as these girls shownat right) but their confusion isshort-lived. Freshmen orientationis designed to get the ninth graders acquainted with North. That, along with helpful teachers andclassmates, softens the awe andgives the freshmen some confidence. This years freshmen have everyright to be proud of their class. The class of 83 did very well inschool sports such as cross country, volleyball, and swimming. They were also busy with outsideclubs and activities. In the past, sophomores havebeen known to fade into the shadows. They are once removed fromthe excitement of being freshmenand dont have the privileges ofbeing upperclassmen, as of yet. However, the class of 82 provedthis stereotype incorrect. This years sophomores won thespirit award many times, and forthe first time really stood out during homecoming week. They alsoproved themselves in the field ofsports. They had a great sophomore year and are looking forwardto an even better year next fall.[Attendance;«**TOKI 1 |
