Over the years, meetingpeople from all over the country was exceptionally rewarding forPardue.At first, you think its going to be a small group, but then yougo to conventions and, wow, there are lots more people than justme and my group! he said. Even so, he cant help that theattraction to FFA is in his blood.My grandpa raised horses when I wtas growing up. I hadrabbits and a goat at [Grandpas], Pardue said. Even though he plans on welding fora career, he knows hell also own a small ranch of his own in the future.Also joining four years ago, Senior Jake Cain served the HHCC chapter byholding offices, first as sentinel (a greeter and goodwill ambassador) one year thenas treasure this year. He attributes his longtime association withboth 4H and FFA as a prompt to involve himself in all sorts ofcommunity agriculture clubs and service organizations.If you have the drive and the ambition to go after somethingand you can see yourself doing or would like to make a differencein, dont let anything hold you down, he said.
