TRUMPist stupid. I dont know why anyone would want to say that, especially in front of thousaieople. It definitely bothers me.I dont like anything about Hillary. Not even as a politician. Even as a person I donter. Shes a liar, she kills people, shes basically a communist. Trump was the best optionay more.and hes not afraid to express it. Overall, I feel like hes got good ideas, and I think .ad this country in a very good direction.s a woman, I dont see [Trumps comments and actions towards women] as a probleni it doesnt affect me personally. It doesnt bother me because its not the fact that heonest or that hes showing who he truly is because it may not be his true self. He justat a bad moment and everybody has their bad moments.OLDmind. Personally, I dont think hes really said anything negative towards the African-Americommunity, so it doesnt really bother me. He does need to stop [talking about women]; I dothink its right for him to say that stuff. I know he may be slightly immature but hes a bettercandidate than Hillary Clinton. I dont like her because shes a crook and a liar. What Does Voting Mean to You£Voting is an important right that every citizen is granted.Voicing your opinion gives you a chance to change yourfuture. Three seniors who voted for the first time this yearexplain their experience. What was voting like«rKloie Chuke: Voting actually wasnt horrible, it was reallyeasy. And the people were really nice.Rachel Stone: Voting was a good experience, but I waskind of nervous because I was helping to make a decisionthat would impact our countrys future.Aidan Flynn: Voting was nothing like I had expected it tobe. Registering to vote was harder than actually voting. [Thevoting process] was all pretty fast and painless.Who did you vote for, and why£Kloie Chuke: I voted straight democrat, so Hillary. It wasthe easiest decision. I just think shes better than Trump, andshe has more experience in politics.Rachel Stone: Prefer not to say.Aidan Flynn: I voted for Hillary because I felt that she wasmore qualified, and would have fought for everyone inAmerica, especially minorities. She would not let the U.S. loseits leading role in the global fight for human rights. A mainreason why I voted for her was because the alternative was acandidate who I strongly opposed.Did your parents influence your decision^Kloie Chuke: No, my parents had never voted before, so Iwas the first one.Rachel Stone: My parents sort of influenced my decisionbecause my entire family is republican, and Ive been raisedaround that, but they never told me who to vote for.Aidan Flynn: To some extent they did influence me. Theyraised me with certain morals and ideals that kinda shapedwhat I thought was right and wrong. Especially when votingfor a president, I felt like they didnt have an influence on me.It just happened that we shared the same stance in the end. |
