A Learning ExperienceArriving a little apprehensive,but ready to welcome a week awayfrom school, fifth graders fromaround the Monroe County schoolsand their counselors (seniors fromNorth) descended on Bradfordwoods, able and willing to tacklethe great outdoors.The counselors, expecting aweek of rest and relaxation, soonfound that their week would holdsomething very different with theirfirst task of getting the kids settledinto their cabins.Throughout the week, the counselors taught the fifth graders different skills such as hiking, archery, and compass reading, identifying trees, and fishing.
