Life is aJourneyphoto and story / Reagan WhiteNina Castro is a among one of the veryintelligent young women we have in ourFreshman class. Castro has made a very smoothtransition from middle school to high school.Much easier than she ever imagined.At such a young age, Castro has traveled to avariety of places around the world, to experiencethe beauty of the world. As a young girl, Castrosparents stressed to her the importance of gettingto know what other countries face and how theycan impact the life she is living here in America.Castro values every trip and loves theexperience she has been given, as she continuesto travel every summer. The places Castro hasbeen recently include Brazil, Germany, Austria,Paris, Spain, Portugal and Canada.A typical summer for Castro includes playingbasketball with her team, taking pictures,traveling or spending quality time with her familyand close friends. Castro is also a part of theinternational club at North, where she can shareexperiences of all the countries she has had theopportunity to visit.I love the to learn about the culture and howeverything is so diverse around the world,Castro said.168// |
