Translating a colloquialterm into French, freshman AriannaRay holds up a sign readingchouette, which mean cool. Rayhas taken three years of French.French is a beautiful language thatdeserves to be taught and learned,Ray said.Latin. Writing a newly acquiredphrase, sophomore DawsonDayhoff says We are goodcitizens. Dayhoff remarked on theincredible support for the lowerlevels of Latin from the upper levelsand the sense of community in hisclass. My favorite part of Latin isthe people in it. Spreading words tolive by, sophomore Jacqueline Cruz-Cortez writes her favorite quote, Iwasnt ready to walk the sky; Iguess thats just what happens whenyoure living life.
