Ive subbed in MCCSC before and North is the onlyplace I wanted to work. I waited until they had an opening that Icould take.Nikean: What is the biggest difference between here andeverywhere else that youve taught?May: I taught six years in Texas and 3 years in Washington. Texasschool was bigger. It was the size of North and South combined.There was a split campus. It was a place for juniors and seniors. Ilike the size of North better.Nikean: What do you like most about North?May: I like the people I work with. My daughter goes to schoolhere and shes comfortable here. The student body as a wholeseems nicer.Nikean: What do you teach?May: I team teach earth space science with Dehner and Bastin. Ihave a degree in special ed. I also have a resource class.Nikean: What is the hardest part about teaching at North?May: I havent taught in 18 years, thats the hardest. The factthat a lot has changed in that time.
