Description: Seeing Triple? Together since the wombDo you have any similar interestswith your triplets? My sister and I both run and wereboth very athletic, but with mybrother, no. My sister and I both runtrack and we started running thesame event. I felt pressure to beat herbecause were both very competitiveand we both want to win. One time in8th grade we were in the same relay, the 400x400 and I was in the leg rightbefore her, so I did not want to fallbehind, because I didnt want todisappoint my sister.-Lindsey Lawrence, freshmanHow does bring a triplet affectyour school life?Being a triplet affects my life bybeing compared academically andsocially. It affects my lifeacademically by my parentscomparing our grades and theprogress that we have each made thisyear. Socially it affects us by ourclassmates comparing us. Its almostlike we arent our own people.-Lydia Lawrence, freshmanODo you think youre closer toyour triplets than your othersiblings?Definitely, I feel that I can connectwith them more than my othersiblings. The three of us togetherhave been together through thickand thin. I especially feel closer tothem since we share the samebirthday. Wherever I go or travel, ustriplets always have to sticktogether. Weve had our fights andour arguments but I love them allthe same. Ive been with them sincethe womb; we cant get any closerthen that.-Alice Merback, freshmanDo you have any similarinterests with your triplets?I love sports, like my brother Theo.We both played basketball for sevenyears together and three years offootball. We also share the samecomedic taste for movies. For mysister Alice, we share the same kindof taste in books and some movies. We are also both very athletic.-Felix Merback, freshmanDo you like being a triplet?I like being a triplet because I havesomeone to hang out with all the timeand I have someone to talk to when Ineed it. Sometimes, I do not likebeing a triplet because everyonecompares us and its like youre notyour own person and that can getannoying. Overall, I like being atriplet. I know at the end of the daythey will always be there for me.-David Lawrence, freshmanPhotos by Kelly FoxDo you have any classes withthem? If so, how does it affectthe way you act?It doesnt really affect the way Iact, I dont act any differently. Ihave my brother, Felix, in one class. He acts out a little bit, but I thinkits because Im in there. Felix actslike a goof sometimes, me being hisbrother kind of gives him leverageto act out. It hasnt affected methough, which is good.-Theo Merback, freshmanWVM
