Description: [Right] The Book Club meets once a monthin the library to discuss the readingmaterial. In the past they have read onlyfantasy novels, but this year PresidentAnna White decided to alternate readingfantasy and nonfiction. Its good toread, freshman Ryan King said.Photos by Abby Hagan[Above] The Book Clubs sponsor, KathyLoser, has worked with the book club fordecades. We do a lot with Habitat forHumanity and Books for Bloomington.Loser said. The book club has also beentrying to get an author to make anappearance, but, John Greene no longertours, Loser said.The books are challenging and interestingbecause they are student picked. They spana vast group of ideas, Loser said.[Above] Senior Anna White has been in Book Club every year at North.This year she is the president which means she organizes events andmeetings. I like to hear what other people think, White said. Whitehas always liked to read and her favorite author is John Greene.
