Description:	TheatreBlood, sweat, and tears.Taking theatre in high school is one of the best choices Ive made in my life,and I could never have found a more wonderful group of people to share myexperiences with. My blood, sweat, and tears have gone into my work, and I loveevery minutes of it. (Except maybe the blood part; thank you Sam Buehler foraccidentally stabbing me with a butter knife on stage in Cabaret.) I do theatrebecause of many reasons. I love the feeling of being on stage, performingsomething Ive worked so hard on, but I do theatre because it has and continues to change me. Im more open and comfortable with myself. I understandemotions and motives of many different types of people. But I also do itbecause it allows me to touch the hearts and minds of everyone I share myselfwith. The show I did that most greatly affected me was Cabaret. There wasmagic in that show, and I know the audience felt it. That feeling, that connection,is why I do it. Thats what I forfeit all of my time and energy to achieve. We alldo. And these is nothing else wed rather be doing.-lAarte Ckastain, tiliKarima Boukary and other members of Norths theatre program perform for the crowdgathered at the Farmers Market.It took forever for Heidi and I to come up with what to do for the statues, and when we did we realized it took a lot of armand back pain to stay that way. Either way, we both had a fun time!Devonish, 113Living Statues is the first major project we do every year in theatre class, and as you can see, we have a lot offun coming up with ideas. In this photo, our concept was a dance audition, with each of us performing a different styleof dance. For me, ridiculous moments like these, where I get to step completely out of my normal personality and actcrazy, are some of my favorite moments in theatre.
