Description:	colophonVolume 37 of the Bloomington High School North Nikean, We Are, was produced during first period on Golddays in rooms 708 and 709 by a staff of 25 members under the supervision of Editors in Chief Jamie Kamenand Joy Msiska and the guidance of Adviser Ryan Gunterman.The 2009 Nikean was published in Edwardsville, Kan. by Herff Jones. Cathy Wines of Plainfield, Ind. servedas the staffs yearbook representative and Debbie Thomas served as the plant consultant in Edwardsville. Sixhundred and eighty copies of the publication were printed.The cover and spreads were designed by the editorial management team.The book was produced on 1 1 Dell PC computers while using Adobe Programs InDesign CS2 and Photoshop 6.The fonts Tw Cen MT and Helvetica Neue LT Std were used for headlines, captions, photo credits and alternativecopy blocks.This book used the following Herff Jones spot colors: Ultra Purple HJ526 for Student Life, Copenhagen HJ300for Academics, Emerald HJ348 for Clubs and Organizations, Colonial Red HJ1 85 for Sports and Ochre HJ1 23on the cover, endsheets, Album and Index.Photographs were taken by staff photographers of the Nikean yearbook using a Canon 1 0.1-megapixelRebel digital camera, a Nikon 1 0.2-megapixel D40x digital camera, two Nikon D60x digital cameras and aNikon 6.1-megapixel D50 digital camera.All student portraits and athletic team photos were taken by Kirkwood Photography. Club and organizationgroup photos wre taken by both Kirkwood Photography and Nikean staff members.This yearbook was available for purchase by the North students and staff from August 2008 to February2009 at prices ranging from $40 to $60.colophon 203
