Description: <DCDaggressiveOn the way to a JV wrestling meet-in Evansville, the motherand sister of freshman wrestler Jordan Castillo were involvedin a serious car accident.The car driven by Castillos mother hit a truck that waspulled over on the side of the road. Castillos sister, Marie,broke her spine in two placesand faced the possibility ofparalysis from the waist down.Miraculously, Castillos motheremerged from the wreck nearly unscathed, but she has beenLENDING AHELPING HANDWith these injuries to the family, Castillos mom could notdevote enough hours towards their future house.To help their situation, the wrestling team decided to pitchin and spend a day working on a Habitat house to help theCastillos receive the hours needed.It was neat to see the teamcome together like that, juniorJake VanDeventer said. No onecomplained, and it was actuallyreally fun.The wrestlers and Castillo, whowith her daughter nearly every day following the Dec. 20.This incident presented a problem for the family, who wasworking on becoming eligible for a house from Habitat forHumanity.
