With all of the practices and meets, swimmers haveto search for time to do school work.You really need to learn time-management skills, senior Me-ganh Nguyen said.In addition to the biweekly weightlifting sessions, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, swimmers have swim practice at 5:45 a.m.It makes me really tired, senior Celina Nierzwicki said. Itmakes it hard to get through the day because youre not reallymotivated.After school, the swimmers go straight back to the pool, notleaving much time to do homework. On the day of a meet, de-Freshman Emma Mumper anticipates her dive off the block. She believesfammates devotion to one another is best shown through morning^practice, which requires us to get up at around 4:45 on Monday,Wednesday, and Friday during swim season.During the Regional meet, senior Joey Arthurs confidence inhelps him stay focused through the match. He is devoted to wrlbecause he wants to win both for himself and the team.
