Description: I During a home football game, North cheerleaders perform for thecrowd. Junior Paige Nichols (top left) is one of the teams designatedflyers. Theres a lot of pressure when youre a flyer, because its reallyeasy to get blamed when something goes wrong, Nichols said. Nichols, however, believes that the thrill of being thrown in the air outweighs thesenegatives. Its fun because you get to kind of show off, Nichols said.Photo by Addy SmithC.
