She has been playing foreleven years. She has played four for North andseveral other years with Cutters at Karst FarmPark.Patel is one of the students at BloomingtonNorth who is brave enough to play two sportsin the same season. She plays both soccer andgolf.Both of these sports conflict a lot becausesometimes practice and games for both sportshappen to be on the same day, Patel said.With Patel graduating this year, she looksback on her four years with joy.The most memorable moment that I havehad would have to be with Leslie Allen, whenwe made up a dance to teach our whole teamStory by Kelly Belcherbefore the North versus South game. It was somuch fun, and Ill never forget it, Patel said.Out of my four years here at North myhardest loss was to South my junior year. Wewent into penalty kicks and two of my playershad made their kicks and two had not, shesaid.It was my job to make this kick or tie withSouth. I missed the kick, and it felt horrible. Iwanted to win the game so bad for our seniors,but unfortunately we lost, Patel said.Patel has exciting college plans.I am attending Northwestern University,and I am hoping to play club soccer there. Iwould love to play on their actual soccer team,but I think it would be hard to handle that andacademics, Patel said.The Girls soccer team started the season offhard training and working to end with a recordof 4-8-3.Kickin It UpGirls Soccer 65
