Itwas a year of rebuilding and frustrations, butthe team stuck together. -It was harderknowing we wouldnt be at practice the nextmorning than it was being 0-10, said seniorTom Golarz.Although the season wasnt as allhad hoped, North players still found ways toshine. Senior Jordan Enzinger ended hisrecord-breaking football career with 83 extrapoints made. He was also a valuable safety,making many great tackles.Despite Enzingers record-breakingseason, sophomore Shawn Cook said he was,dissapointed, but looking forward to theupcoming season. It seems that theunderclassman are planning on contributingto better the team for next year.Senior Dequincy Morris has been apart of the varsity team since his freshmanyear. Even though we had a losing season,we accomplished a lot. We became stronger asa team. We were more like a family because wehave been playing together for a long time, hesaid. Morris ended his season with 720rushing yards and eight touchdowns.Junior, Daniel Carter in his secondyear playing for North unfortunately had aninjury that hurt the team as a whole. Early inthe year Carter broke his ankle during theseason opener against Northview.Soon after the 2004-2005 seasonconcluded, head coach pick Wellingtondecided to resign after fiveyears withBloomington High School North.
