Description:	The football team had a great season this year and accomplishedmany goals. The Cougars beat South for the first time in fifteen years. Inaddition, North had a third place finish in Conference Indiana, and tiedNorths best record at 8-3.Coach Rick Wellington believes that they could have accomplishedmuch more this season. Our goal was to at least win a sectional title, butwe didnt quite make it with our 32-28 loss to Mooresville. We simply just ranjout of time as they scored with eleven seconds left in the game. I am soproudof our accomplishments this season.This was a record-breaking year; not only for the team, but manyindividual records fell as well. Senior quarterback Anthony Lindsey had 65career touchdowns, 553 career completions, and 7,198 career passing yards.Senior wide receiver Andrean McCoy had eleven season touchdown receptions. Lastly, junior kicker Jordan Enzinger had 69career PATs. The Maroon Award winner was senior Dan Beckum while senior Heath VanDeventer received the Gold Award.This years team was led by 19 seniors who will be sorely missed next year. The seniors feel they have broughtrespect back to the program. As senior Anthony Lindsey said, This senior class has been through a lot over the past fouryears.
