Description: —MPChanging With theSeasonsContinuesThe grass adorned with the white hatsof frost is a sure sign of winter moving in.It is a season of rubber boots, Kleenexesand the blahs. Only twenty days untilChristmas break, you count to yourselfduring a Chemistry lecture, barely keeping your eyes open. The only thing thatkeeps you going is that it must be 55° inthe school. You wear three sweaters andyou are still cold! However, winter timesports, final exams, crowning of the Winter Sports King and Queen, and the occasional after-school snowball fight keepyou busy and involved. After months of indoor activities, spring finally arrives to the delight ofNorth students. You find a ride on yourbicycle or a jog around the track is agreat way of releasing your new burst ofenergy. Classroom concentration seemsto become more difficult with each passing day. You find yourself skiing on LakeMonroe or soaking up the sun in yourbackyard more than you find yourself atschool. Only thirty days left, you count toyourself once again sitting in Chemistry. This time though, it must be 90° in theAfter a long winter, junior Vicky Harris starts offher summer with a Bloomington Swim Club victory.Bloomington North remains peaceful as the snowand bright lights set the scene for this cold winterevening.school and you are wishing that theywould fix the crazy heating system. Now is the season of high school.Freshmen find themselves in a season ofnew experiences. Sophomores and juniors are in a period of maturation anduncertainty. Seniors, reaching the end ofheir high school years, are lookingahead to a new and unknown season.
