a_._S_BTSoys <Naite (2ej_oiLdThe BHSN BoysSwimming and DivingTeam completed a successful season, culminating in an 8-4 dual meetrecord, and a third placefinish at Sectionals. Theyproduced three sectionalchampions: Ben Strawnin diving, and Matt Knoyin the 50-yard freestyle,and Matt Fisher in the100 yard butterfly. Theseindividuals competed inthe state meet as didMatt Knoy in the 100yard backstroke, andMatt Knoy, James Wilkinson, Matt Fisher, andRob Leisure in the 200Medley Relay. During thepreliminaries of the StateMeet, the Medley RelayTeam set a new schoolrecord of 1:40.60, breaking a 4-year hold on theevent.Co-Captains for thisyears team were seniorsRob Leisure and MattFisher. Highlights of thisyears season include anoutstanding Sectionalperformance with an accumulated time drop of92 seconds. Also, thethree sectional champions as well as the newschool record served ashigh points.While diving into the water,Senior Jeff Gibbs, takes thelead.<8>Reflections of |
