Winter Turns IntensiveT his year, Winter Intensive Term (WIT)became a new programat Bloomington North.During this three weekperiod, students couldsign up for a variety ofsubjects and courses.They could either take anall-day course or twohalf-day courses. Students were offered theopportunity to go on tripsto Florida, Mexico, orFrance. Others stayed atschool or shadowedsomeone in the community.Some of the coursesheld here at North wereBasketball, Conditioningand Fitness, ProductionTechniques, Fishing, Water Games, and PositiveMental Attitude. In theseclasses, students participated in many activities,including several fieldtrips. Cadet teachingwas also offered as acourse, where studentswere assigned to an elementary school classroom and assisted theteacher in any way possible.Most of the studentsenjoyed Winter IntensiveTerm.
