Boys Golf Shows PromiseT he 1992 Cougar golfteam had its mostsuccessful season inseveral years. The returning team of seniorsDallas Drummond andGreg Lawrence and juniors Jim Harlow, BradyHawxhurst, and MattMoynihan set a goal atthe start of the season ofgoing to the state finals.Not only did they reachthat goal, but they alsowon the Bloomington Invitational for the secondyear in a row, the South-port Invitational and theSCC Conference Tourney for the first time.A second place finishin Sectionals and thirdplace at Regionalsearned the Cougars a tripto the State Finals inJune.The Cougars played inInvitationals almost everyweekend and scheduleddual meets through theweek.
