Theyare a way to pass time,a chance to meet newpeople, and a methodof gaining a sense ofbelonging to a group.College-bound students use them to fulfillthe extra-curricular requirements wanted bycolleges.For whatever reasonspeople join clubs,everyone can use themto make a difference.Some write articles toinform fellow studentswhat is going on attheir school, and others raise money to buyand preserve rain forest land.
