Boys Golf Surprises Many;\■ VNice shoes Brad.hen the 1990Boys Golf season ended,Bloomington North surprised a lot of people,mainly by beatingranked South at sectionals and advancing to theSeymour Regionals. Theteam didnt make it tostate.Streza was the teamplayer that came theclosest to making it to thestate meet. Streza lost ina sudden death play offon the first hole.The team started slow,but as the seasonprogressed, the scoresdropped greatly. Varsityswingers were JasonBeard, Brad Streza, GregLawrence, Dallas Drummond, Jimmy Harlow,Matt Moynihan, andBrady Hawxshurst.This year, CoachGeorge Fielding has highhopes of a state boundteam. Only one seniorleft, and the team didwell over the summer invarious tournaments.Watch out State!!We used to play intournaments, just to gainexperience for Sectionals, Coach Fieldingsays.
