This was thetime when we broke up intoour little cliques—jocks, band people, preppies, andgrits who hung out behindthe school. We were alsosubjected to a new type ofdiscipline — detentions. Theboys began to set asidetheir games of kickball andbegan to pick up girls. Thenit was on to the buildingfeared by all, BloomingtonNorth! As a freshman, youwandered through whatseemed like hundreds ofwinding halls. You werecareful not to bother theupperclassmen, and thehomework kept piling up.As a sophomore, you feltmore comfortable. Writingnotes to your friends inclass sometimes became abad habit. PSATswere the most dreadedthings of the year!As a senior you were ontop and you set an examplefor all of the underclassmen. This year you thoughtwould be filled with fun andexcitement but you soonfound out differently.Colleges, future jobs, andgrades came first on yourlist. For some reason thisyear, you really maturedand began to appreciate thebetter things in life. Yourinterest and support insports had increased.School spirit and leadershipwas your role. The promwas your dance. Sayinggood-bye to all of yourfriends at the end of theyear was hard and sad, butyou knew you must moveon to bigger and betterthings. These twelve years ofmemories youll alwayscherish and remember.
