Young minds find ithard to concentrate on theirstudies as they look forwardto the weekends activities.As the computerized bellsounds, hundreds ofstudents rush to the exits.The weekend has begun.Once released from thepressures of Frenchgrammar, Americanliterature, and trigfunctions, these kids willfind plenty of ways to spendtheir two-day recess.Whether it be donning atoga to party the timeaway, checking out thevideo games and the crowdon Kirkwood, or gearing upfor that big date, there isalways something fun instore. As in years past,movie theatres are still themost popular location tomeet with that specialmember of the oppositesex. When tired of the sameold routine, however, kidsknow that Bloomingtonabounds with manyopportunities for a changeof pace. Diversions includespecial events on campus,Cougar sporting events,and live theatre and musicalperformances. Somestudents choose simply tocruise the town comesundown, while othersbypass the entire dilemmaand stay home to catch upon the action on Dallas.If someone cant find agood time on Friday orSaturday, theres nothing toworry about.
