Hethen told the family allabout it and it didnt takelong before Jay and SallieMoore were interested inclogging. They caught onvery quickly and so theyjoined their first team calledThe Pride and JoyCloggers.During the time that theywere on this team, they gota good taste of competition.The team went to theWorld Championships in1978 and they received athird runner up rating out of62 other teams. And then,in 1979, they went againand became the WorldChampions. The trophythat they won is the oneshown in the picture.After that, The Pride andJoy Clogging team brokeup and the Mooresorganized their very ownteam.
