Youth Conservation Corps5^188If you want a job thatmakes you sweaty, andtired, makes new friends,and makes you rich, thenthe Youth ConservationCorps (YCC) is for you. TheYCC was hard at work thissummer doing everythingfrom building playgroundsto enlarging the ecologyarea. The labor is hard, butthey have lots of fun. YCCconsists of people from 15to 18 from various schools.Their fun-loving,hardworking sponsors areMr. Ron Crowe and Mr.Tom Ringo who, after allthat hard work, decided totake their whole crew toWhite River for a nice littlevacation.So if you want agovernment job, (YCC isfunded by the federalgovernment) and if you liketo travel (going to variousschools) then YCC is foryou!!Kathy Demshar comments, Themost fun Ive had all summer.Senior Julie Stockholm saysYCC was a lot of hard work, buta lot of fun too. |
