Description:	Practice Makes Perfectfor the Debate TeamThis year the debate team received a newcoach. Mrs. Rimstidt took over the job whichwas formerly held by Mrs. Lloyd, who retiredlast year.The debate team travels to many cities out ofBloomington to have their debates. This yearthey had debates at New Castle, Carmel, DecaterCentral, Warren Central, and Ben Davis.The debate team worked hard to have a goodteam this year. During the week before a tournament the debaters gather current literature ontheir particular case. When the research is completed, a practice debate is held and criticized bythe coach and other debaters.This years top debaters are Dian Bushey,Dean Bushey, Jane Hardy, and Kim Walters.Other members of the debate team are Joe Vino-cur, Melissa Guth, Barry Lowenthal, Mike Gel-lar, Bill Tracey and Jeff Arnett.This year North did a good job against NewCastle and Carmel, placing fourth in both contests.
