Stuntmen Spark SpiritFor the third straight year, the Varsity cheerleaders have been aided by stuntmen during basketball season. North Stuntmen dont fall offbuildings or race through fire as Hollywoodstuntmen do, but they are nevertheless, very talented.Norths Stuntmens stunts consist of partnerstunts and pyramids. Partner Stunts are done usually with one guy and one girl. There are manydifferent kinds of partner stunts. While the basketball teams starting line-ups are being introduced before a game, and when a North player isshooting a free-throw are the most commontimes that partner stunts are performed. Theother main stunt the Stuntmen perform is calleda pyramid. Pyramids are good crowd pleasers. They are done at center court during a time-outand usually have a cheer incorporated with it.Pyramids are done with the cheerleaders. TheStuntmen are used as bases for the cheerleadersto climb on. The guys add support to themounts, as well as aid in spotting.
