We, the people of Bloomington Senior High School, in order to form a better community, desire to help maintain justice, provide for common interests, promote the general welfare, andsecure the blessing of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.The 1700 students and the 90 teachers of Bloomington Senior High School, guided by theadministration and assisted by the staff, are a vital part of our community.During our three-year stay at BSHS we take required courses and choose others from theacademic and vocational curriculums. There are also 28 clubs and nine competitive sports. Alongwith these we find time to take an active part in our community life.While at BSHS we, the students, grow in both mind and body. We make new friends andput our skills and talents to use in areas such as drama, publications, athletics, and academics.We experience moments of happiness and sorrow. A year ago our spirits were dampened whenwe watched fire destroy our former high school building. We, the people of BSHS, respect andtake pride in our growing community.- |
