The club was co-sponsored byMrs. Deborah Horning and Mr. Bill Frohliger. Mr.Frohliger directed the boys who joined and whowere interested in coaching as a future career.The FTA had talks from various people in thefield of education. One meeting was visited by apanel of student teachers. At another Mr. CarlStewart gave a talk on planning a career in teaching.The members of the club divided into committeesto handle the affairs of the club. Points were awardedto members who contributed their time to the club.These points were the bases of the scholarship whichwas awarded to a senior at the end of the year.After Christmas vacation the club sponsored adance, The Hangover Hop, which was open tothe whole school. An after game dance featuringthe Arcadians was also sponsored.Service projects were handled by FTA to helpunderprivileged children in the Bloomington area.STUDENTS UNWIND after the holidays at the HangoverHop sponsored by FTA.106
