The ad staff sold more than$2500 worth of advertising to Bloomington businessmen and merchants which helped to keepdown the cost of the Gothic to BSHS students.Rugged Road to Publication CompletedAfter a year of becoming acquainted with themodern facilities at the new school, the yearbookstaff was better prepared to accomplish the taskof producing this years Gothic.The staff, headed by editor, Cathy Goodall, andassistants, Steve Sparks and Danny Stewart, wascomposed of a group of eager and dedicated students. To meet deadlines the staff had to put inmany extra hours and lots of hard work fulfillingsuch duties as typing, keeping files up to date, preparing copy, drawing layouts, finishing triplicates,sometimes frantically, to complete the Gothic. Atother times staff members were seen around schoolsnapping pictures or distributing materials toclasses.m^MMmmmMR. WILLIAM GOSSER, publications advisor, lectures theGothic staff on the importance of meeting deadlines.BRENDA PATTON, as bookkeeper, is responsible for depositing, counting, and disbursing about $15,000 which is requiredto finance the Gothic this year.46
