Although thecooks made preparations the afternoon before, thefood was not cooked until the day it was served.The 15 cooks who served us were pleased with thewell-equipped kitchen.The custodians helped prepare the new schoolfor use by painting, cleaning, and assembling andarranging classroom furniture. Working in twoshifts from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. untilmidnight, they cleaned rooms and halls, placedfurniture, checked the lights, waxed and painted.CUSTODIANS . . .
