Hungry students filled the cafeteria during first and second lunch periods.The Daily RoutineEach day every student enrolled at BloomingtonHigh School attended six classes, chosen from 350classes taught by 74 teachers. For some studentsthe school day began at 7:30 and ended at 2:45,though most were in school from 8:30 to 3:45. Inaddition to regular classes, homerooms were assigned to all students. During their homeroom students were allowed to study, coqjer with theircounselors, and attend the monthly meetings of 45clubs. Other club work and athletics were amongschool-related activities after classes.Confronted by the daily problem of homework, Jane Crislerlooks up a reference at the public library. |
