Susie McNamaraand King Chris Shelton reigned over Alumni Hallwith their court Suzanne Jacobs, Janice Owens,Tom Crandall, and Gary Butler, taking part in a tradition which began in 1894. That year the Juniors firstgave the Seniors a final farewell party, the Prom.Jo Alice Whitehead was crowned 1964 FootballQueen and received a kiss from Mr. Cull. Jo and hercourt, Anna Lou Gee, Sherry Pendill, Linda Wilbur,Linda Hinkle, and Patty Turner were nominated bythe undefeated football team.Donna Bland was crowned 64-65 BasketballQueen at half-time during the Bedford game. Donnaand her court, Judy Anderson, Debbie Jordan, LornaChitwood, Cheryl Hacker, Millie Yost; and her attendants, Linda Fulk, Connie. Galloway, and DonnaZonkle, watched the Panthers defeat Bedford andthen went to the Girls Gym, decorated for a Christmas evening of dancing.Soir a Paris and Tender is the Night were evenings of corsages, formals, music, and dancing—the long awaited events—nights to remember. |
