Sale of these subscriptions in homerooms became anotherCouncil project this year.Student Council, the schools Congress, enables thestudent body, through its homeroom representatives,to voice its opinions on school policies.The Council began its projects by sponsoring theFootball Homecoming with Jo Ann Parker asqueen. Mike Hunsucker topped the sales of basketballschedule ball-point pens, while Anna Marie Endwrightled the sales of basketball season tickets, a new projectof the group this year. Representatives also sold Gothicsto students in homerooms and collected the moneyfor underclass pictures for the first time.A new record was set by the homerooms with thecollection of seventy bags of clothing for Bundle Days.As in the past, the Councils service projects consistedof gathering Christmas Food Baskets and sponsoringthe Spring Clean-Up. Mike Easton, president, headedthe committees for the All-School Dance, the Councilsmajor project of the year.
