Standing is class president, Leland Butler.Class Of 60, One Of ActionBob Boruff, Rex Smith, and Judy Smith, are counseled bySponsoring a pep session, electingsenior officers and advisory board,selecting our name cards and annouce-ments, and presenting the senior playwere some of the activities we participated in during our senior year.The Class of 60 started the yearoff by sponsoring the first football pepsession. Then things swung into actionas the senior class was organized, starting with the senior election. Seniorofficers were Leland Butler, president;Bob Boruff, vice-president; ScottvHead, secretary; Evelyn Salee, treasurer.In January, the seniors had theirfirst class party THE BEATNIKBLAST. It was a real wild party witheveryone dressed as true beats. Theblast was held in the beatnik jointknown as the Jukebox. The pad wasdim, lit only by the candles in thewine bottles, as the beatniks wanderedabout reciting poetry.In the spring we presented oursenior play. The play was given bymembers of the senior class with theassistance of the Procenium Players.After this our thoughts focused ongraduation.92
